Meet the Team

    Jennie Hess brings 20 years of wedding industry experience to her position as the Marketing and Advertising Director for Forsyth Woman Engaged!  Jennie spent 10 years as Associate Publisher of ELEGANT BRIDE Magazine.  She traveled the nation as a national spokesperson for the magazine, sharing with brides the most recent trends in fashion, tabletop and travel. As a Forsyth County native, Jennie looks forward to working with brides and wedding professionals locally, as they create the perfect wedding day!Denise Heidel has worked for Forsyth Magazines for over four years and serves as the Project Manager for Forsyth Woman and Forsyth Family and the Editor for Forsyth Woman Engaged.  Denise is excited to utilize Forsyth Woman and Forsyth Family’s formula of supporting local business and community to help brides and grooms create a dream wedding in Forsyth County. She brings over 15 years of experience in event planning and project management to the table.
    Meghan Corbett comes to Forsyth Woman Engaged! with eight years of writing experience including several bridal publications in the Triangle.  She is very excited to bring her expertise to her hometown as Writer and Communications Specialist for this new local resource. A recently married girl herself, Meghan understands what it takes and how important it is to make a wedding day unforgettable!
    Keela Johnson brings almost 8 years experience in the publishing world to Forsyth Woman Engaged. She could not be more excited about offering brides and grooms the opportunity to find bridal resources and hidden gems in Forsyth County!  As the Publisher for Forsyth Woman and a recent Mother-of-the-Bride, Keela knows the value of utilizing local resources you can trust when planning a wedding!
    Brooke Eagle has been with the Forsyth Magazine family since the beginning in 2005 as the writer for Teen Talk in Forsyth Woman and her role evolved when she became the Associate Editor for the magazines in 2010.  In 2012, Brooke joined the Forsyth Woman Engaged team as Assistant Publisher and Account Executive. As a new bride herself, Brooke recognizes the value of trusted resources.  She planned her own wedding utilizing Forsyth County vendors and is eager to help bridal vendors reach their target audience through Forsyth Woman Engaged
    Kelley Carnall is a Forsyth County native and she joins the Forsyth Magazine’s team as an Account Executive. Her keen eye for detail is valuable to both our magazine production and website. She is a mom to two gorgeous girls and she’s a welcome addition and an enthusiastic member of the team!
