Bryan and I  met for the first time when he invited me to take his Bootcamp class.  Little did I know with sweat dripping through my eyes, that I was looking at the man I would marry.  Bryan proposed to me in a photo booth , and I couldn’t have been more surprised or in love!

Phillip and I met 6 years ago through mutual friends at Jack-a-lope Jack’s. We instantly hit it off! Phillip proposed in The Great Smokey Mountains underneath thousands of synchronous fireflies. The fireflies migrate to this one area once a year, creating a magical setting that made for the perfect proposal.

Hunter and I met four years ago through mutual friends. I was oblivious to the fact that he liked me, he chased me for a whole year before I realized what was right in front of me. We fell madly in love! He proposed April 21, and our wedding date is September 28, 2013.

John and I met over Christmas break our freshman year at Carolina when we attended a concert at the Basement with mutual friends.  I facebooked him a few days later – luckily Diachenko is uncommon!  Now we’ve been together over 6 years and are getting married April 27, 2013 at WinMock!

Lee and I met at work and soon after became friends. About 3 to 4 months later, we started dating and and now 4 years later we have just purchased our first house together in January and on June 23rd he took me to Hanging Rock State Park and asked me to be his wife! We are so excited to be planning our Fall wedding at a vineyard in Rhonda, NC on 10.6.13!

Preston and I met in our 9th grade English class and soon became friends. About a year later, we started dating at 15 years old and are still together as seniors in college! We got engaged on April 14th and are so excited to now be planning our wedding!

Chris and I met at my job. I was waitressing and he was my customer. In 2010, we began dating, and I knew he was the one. On 12/13/11, he popped the question at his company’s Christmas dinner. We are currently planning our wedding and can’t wait to be married.

RULES / TERMS

  • Couples must submit a VALID email address and phone number for each member of the couple, which will be verified prior to official entry.  By entering, you are certifying that both members of the couple have agreed to all contest rules. The winner will be notified within 24 hours of the end of the contest, which is midnight on Friday, July 6, 2012.
  • Contest participants agree that their names and contact information may be shared with all participating vendors.  Vendors will contact the winning couple directly to redeem their portion of the prize.
  • Values
    • Consultation will take place at The Perfect Pair Bridal Suite, located at the Broyhill Historic Events Center in Clemmons.  Date and time to be mutually agreed upon by all parties.
    • Free engagement shoot with Jessica Marie Photography will take place at a date, time, and location mutually agreed upon by the winning couple and Jessica Marie Photography.  Prints and photo packages are not included and may be purchased separately.
    • The free groom’s cake from Cake and All Things Yummy will be valued up to $120.  Elaborate or complex decorations exceeding the prize value will be charged accordingly.  Fillings and flavor may be chosen by the winning couple.
    • The free bridal bouquet from Beverly’s of Midway will be valued at $200.  Florals exceeding this price will be charged accordingly.
    • Free vow writing though Vow to be Different is provided with a one hour consultation per couple, including a his and hers questionnaire.  Up to two edits allowed.
  • Forsyth Woman Engaged! waives any responsibility for products and services provided by the participating vendors.
  • The winning couple agrees that by participating in this contest, they have not already contracted with or secured the services of any of these participating vendors nor have they contracted for these services offered by similar businesses.  Should it be determined that the winning couple has contracted with other vendors prior to or during the duration of the contest, they shall forfeit the entire prize and the runner up will be declared the winner.
  • Winning couple’s wedding must take place within 50 miles of Forsyth County between November 1, 2012 – October 31, 2013.
